And (I'm so, so sorry for starting every sentence with 'and') a realization hit me not too far into the film which distracted me for quite a while. This probably makes me a lousy Trekkie, but - young Kirk and McCoy? ARE MY CAM AND DANIEL FROM THE 200-STAR-TREK-VERSE. Which I love and still muse over though I've only finished two ficlets in it.

Apparently it is 'new social networking platform week!!!' in Fyereland. I gave in to Twitter (it sucks you in like a frigging black hole) & have been playing SG-1 (latest incarnation + Jack) on there for the last few days. If you have one, add them, if you want, and Tweet at them and interact and have fun. It's silly but in-character. :D

Their Tweets are in roughly real time and are set in some vague post-'Continuum' time period. (*Now*, basically.) So, there are and may be some spoilers for things that are rumored for SGU and the next movies.
